We’ve been proud sponsors of Luctonian’s Community Coaching Programme for over two decades, and are excited to announce a new brand for this partnership. 

Our support over the last 20 years has helped Lucs’ Community Coaching Programme provide a much needed, and well-loved service to the rural communities in and around the Herefordshire area.  

Originally focussing on rugby, over the years the programme has expanded into a genuine multi sports programme, supporting dozens of schools, and thousands of young people in the locality with dedicated sports coaching. The programme aims to get kids trying a variety of sports and activities, encouraging health and participation more than any specific sport or skill. 

Luctonians Commercial and Events Manager Charlotte Brown said ‘It’s a pleasure to work alongside Avara to ensure that children in our local communities can access sport and learn the impact that sport can have on their mental and physical well-being. Skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, and engagement are all essential and transferable to other areas of life, and we feel it is important to ensure that children are taught them.’
