Last week was National Apprenticeship Week and Avara Foods exhibited at the Telford Apprenticeship Show 2019, with the aim of identifying our next generation of apprentices. Many pupils in years ten, 11, 12 and 13 from local schools were invited to the event, to help them to make their career decisions and learn about the future world of work.

As a significant local employer in the Telford area, the Avara stand enjoyed many visitors who were able to watch a butchery demonstration and speak with colleagues about the opportunities available with us. Avara Foods was one of over 60 exhibitors present on the day and hundreds of delegates attended the event. The Avara stand was supported by colleagues from both our Telford and Brackley sites across a range of teams including resourcing, communications and production.
